I have been so busy this weekend-let's see-On Saturday I worked in my classroom and almost broke my nose while cleaning out a cabinet-Erin saved me by giving me Advil as I sat with an ice pack on my nose-then went home and did laundry and then went out to eat with Suzanne as we talked about school-yep I said it-school-i live for it -then on Sunday I mowed the lawn,yes me-it was actually fun! I went to eat with my mom, dad, and sister-mexican yum! Then started priming kitchen cabinets-fun NOT!
I am blessed that I have the ability to do all these things as well as the physical ability. It is the little things in life that I have begun to be more thankful for! Now I am ready for a nap or a Lifetime movie-maybe both!

Just wanted to let everyone know I am back! I am so happy to see Deidre's blog! I miss her so!!!What a cute little girl Mary Martin is!!!
Today, I went to a baby shower for Hope, my coworkers daughter--it was so good to see Catherine, too--Thomas is so cute and growing so big--what a good looking family! I have no baby pics of my own to post, so you all will just have to bare with me--one of my favorite children's books is Leo the Latebloomer--so just call me Miss Leo--and refer to the scripture on the top of my header!!!!

Well I had the most fun shopping for my nephew, Jack--It was fun shopping for baby clothes. I was proud of myself for buying them the right kind of diapers and formula. I spent 4 hours with him the other night-I loved not having to share him with his Aunt Meagie and Marmie and Grandaddy-PopPop(at least that is what I am calling him!) I am so in love with Jack--I can't stand to be away from him. He is definantly spoiled already by his family. Megan and I will be fighting over him! Jack had his 3 week check up--he has gained over a pound now weighing over 6 pounds and has grown over an inch. The doctor said he was doing great and is out of the crucial stage. We are so greatful to God. I am praising Him everyday for bringing Jack into the Harwell family as well as the Collin's family. His grandpaw Collins is smiling down from heaven at his precious grandbaby. Thanks to all of you who read my blog. Don't forget to leave a comment--Thanks Catherine Cross for adding me to your list of friends--I feel so special!
I will post pics later when Jack's mommy and daddy have time to send them to me--in between feedings and napping--and I am talking about Mary's napptime-not Jack's!

I'm an Aunt!!!

Well, today at 8:15a.m., I was awaken by a phone call. It was my brother, Jimbo, calling to tell me that Mary, his wife, had just given birth to a beautiful 5 pound 14oz baby boy. Jimbo said Baby H came out screaming and peeing--all over the nurse. I was so excited to get this great news. I got up and got dressed-David called me Aunt Roxy(which is also was my Great Aunt's name!) and I rushed to Babtist Hospital. Mary was still in recovery. My mom, dad, Megan-my sister, and Jimbo and myself went downstairs and ate breakfast. Then Jimbo went back upstairs to talk with the Dr. I went shopping with my parents and Megan. We went everywhere looking for something to hang on the hospital door. We couldn't find anything that would fit my brother's modern taste. So I told Mom I would make something. Although they have not picked out a name, I think they are leaning toward's Jack. We will have to wait and see. Baby H. will be in NICU for a couple of weeks. His oxygen level started out at 100% and when I left the hospital around 6:45, it was at 75%-that is good news. This means Baby H. is gradually learning to breathe on his own. I will not get to see him for a little while but the it will be worth the wait. I can't wait to see my new little newphew. I am so excited. I will post pictures as soon as my brother sends them to me. We are so blessed to have Baby H. in our lives. After Jimbo and Mary lost Baby Kate, they knew the Lord would bless them again-
Baby Kate is now a big sister. She will take care of her little brother from above. We will all be praying for our new bundle of joy.

Here is David blowing out his tea-light candle on his Kroger Made Brownie cake topped with mini-M&M's--I was sick as a dog--but ran to the store to get him a cake and a card-He also got a Guitar Magazine. I can't believe he is 38?!

Well as you can see, it is almost midnight and I can't fall asleep-i am on my second day of Prednisone-a steroid I recieved from my visit to the ER. Couldn't breath so David took me to the hospital-bad case of bronchitis-still running fever and coughing a lot. But I did add some new stuff to my page. Will add photos later. We have a $700 digital camera but never use it. Don't you think the glitter graphics are funny?
